EMPLOYMENT - CHOICES PROGRAMA day program for persons with Developmental Disabilities that enhances their quality of life. By choosing recreational and social activities, our consumers learn to make better use of their downtime when they are not in production jobs at ORI. We offer art classes, enrichment activities in the community, exercise programs, and the opportunity for individuals served to have social interaction with their peers. Our consumers take part in outings like trips to the library, the humane society, music classes, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, museums, as well as other outdoor activities that address their need for physical health. We offer board games, movies, current event groups, men’s group, dart team, spiritual enrichment class and computer access to provide opportunities for social interaction. The training supervisors and coordinators in this area provide support and encouragement in times of stress and during times when our consumers need assistance in problem solving. We strive to create an area that is both fun and safe that provides access to recreational and social activities when work services are not available.
