ORI strives to increase our Direct Care hourly wage every year. Currently we are at $11/hour.

ORI takes pride looking within and elevating our employees.

ORI provides our regular non-temporary employee a 403(b) Retirement Plan. When an employee has been with ORI for a year in a regular non-temporary position, any percent contribution made, up to 4% of the employee's gross salary to a employee/ORI established TSA/Mutual Fund plan by the employee will be matched by ORI. Regular non-temporary employees who wish to contribute more than 4% of their gross salary may do so up to the legal limits set forth in section 403(b) of the Internal Revenue Code.

ORI provides a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) to all regular non-temporary employees. Employees working 40 hours per week shall earn the following amounts per year based on hours paid (part-time employees shall be pro-rated).

  • First nine months of service - 78 hours in nine months.

  • First, Second, Third years of service - 208 hours per year.

  • Fourth, Fifth, Sixth years of service - 248 hours per year.

  • Seventh year of service or more - 288 hours per year.

ORI provides Premium Pay to hourly employees/substitutes who work Thanksgiving Day between 12:01 a.m. Thanksgiving Day and 12 a.m. (midnight) Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day between 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and 12 a.m. (midnight) on Christmas Day (31 hour period), regular non-temporary employees may request PTO for that day also.

ORI provides Extended Sick Leave to regular non-temporary employees. Extended Sick Leave provides a valuable short-term disability benefit. Extended Sick Leave benefits are accrued at a rate of approximately four (4) hours per month for full-time employment and are capped at fifty (50) days (400 hours) (benefits are prorated for regular non-temporary part-time employees). Extended Sick Leave is for use in the case of serious, prolonged illness/injury or condition.

ORI offers medical, dental and vision plans to regular non-temporary full-time employees. ORI's medical plan has two (2) options to choose from when eligible. The cost to staff is less than $100 per month. ORI also offers a Health Savings Account (HSA) with one of the medical plans. ORI contributes $40 per month to an employees HSA.

ORI provides Life Insurance to regular non-temporary full-time employees. The Life Insurance is an Accidental Death and Dismemberment Policy in the amount of $10,000.

ORI provides an exceptional Employee Assistance Program. The Plan includes up to 8 counseling sessions per issue.

ORI provides onsite Training which includes but not limited to CPR/First Aid Certification, Medication Certification and Communication Behavioral Strategies.
